Welcome back to the pLAYmARKETING blog! Thanks to an interesting article published on brand-news.it, today we show you a beautiful marketing operation carried out by Corona in Peru, with the aim of enhancing the precious relationship that the brand has always had with nature.
CORONA AND THE 100% NATURAL LIVING BILLBOARD
Sustainability is a crucial aspect for every business entity. Today, marketing operations that aim to highlight the sustainable side of a company, emphasizing nature and the connection with the earth, are becoming more and more common.
Corona, the Mexican beer producer, has also decided to act on this front with a new billboard installation in Peru conceived by a well-known communication agency, Fahrenheit DDB.
THE PROJECT
Every communication project is rooted in its values: at the core of Corona’s communication strategy is the connection with nature and the naturalness of its ingredients. To evoke these elements, the company wanted to create an installation composed of only natural materials that travel through the beautiful Peruvian landscapes, propelled solely by the wind.
An idea realized in collaboration with a famous artist from Peru, Edi Mérida. The structure was created with bamboo canes, while the sail is made of natural fiber. In perfect line with the brand’s positioning, this installation is an ode to all outdoor experiences promoted by Corona. A marketing operation that fully respects the company’s values: a 100% natural and sustainable billboard.
